Krusinski Construction Company’s client AMB Property Corp had a tenant, BAX Logistics that needed to be in the O’Hare area and have easy access to I-90. With no vacant sites having proximity to O’Hare or an existing structure that met the tenant’s specific needs, AMB decided to demolish an existing structure that was in the desired location. Construction of the domestic and international facilities included clearing the site, re-engineering the existing utilities, extending a feeder street and installing a storm water trap system underneath the parking lot.
