The largest daily paper in Savannah, the Savannah Morning News constructed a 145,000 SF newspaper press and distribution facility as well as a 120,000 SF office building.  The distribution facility, including two presses and an ink tank farm with extensive process piping, shares a common entrance and reception area with the three story Class A corporate facility.  Unique features include a central rotunda with a 36 foot dome custom light fixture emulating skylight in the apex and a terrazzo floor highlighting a three color compass rose with brass insets of the four major compass points representative of Savannah’s nautical history.
