The Pavilion at Belo Mansion

Location:
Dallas, TX
Client:
Dallas Bar Foundation

The Belo Mansion Pavilion houses a ballroom and office space for Dallas Bar Association members and a four level underground parking garage. The ballroom will not only hold events for the bar association, it will serve as a venue for weddings, receptions, and other community events. Design incorporated over 600 pieces of exterior limestone that was mined and cut to shape in Portugal. The team conducted an extensive monitoring process, continually verifying specification of the concrete and steel to ensure perfect fit of all the Limestone pieces. All the exterior and interior finishes of the Pavilion required exceptional attention to detail and a highly conscientious approach. In addition to the Pavilion and underground parking garage construction, Rogers-O’Brien renovated a portion of the Mansion interior. The team performed demolition to the existing kitchen, installed new ovens and refinished the floors and walls of the kitchen. In the existing ballroom, we replaced the flooring and refinished all the walls. Rogers-O’Brien took extensive measures to protect the historical structure, resulting in no damage to the Mansion.
