This lifestyle center has been renewed through a series of projects over many years, and now sets the standard for retail centers in the Seattle region.  Lewis has performed nearly continuous projects at University Village since 2001.

• Blue C. Sushi.  Built a 3,266 square foot sushi restaurant and bar.  The dining room features a video wall, and a conveyor-belt system that rotates the sushi past each central table.  In 2007, Lewis expanded the restaurant by 500 square feet.
• J.Crew.  Lewis constructed a 7,510 square foot building expansion for University Village, and separately interiors for a two-story J.Crew.
• Tommy Bahama.  Built out a 3,200 square foot store.
• Pilates, Fiorini Sports, etc.  Lewis built a six-floor building with eight retail shells and structured parking for 783 cars.  We also built tenant improvements for Pilates and Fiorini Sports.
• Banana Republic, Blue C Sushi, Cole Haan.  We constructed a 9,500 square foot shell expansion with rooftop parking.  Lewis was also Blue C Sushi’s tenant improvement contractor.
• Eileen Fisher.  Built out a new 1,800 square foot store with custom 10-foot birch doors and travertine cladding.  (We also performed a smaller project at the Downtown store.)
• Bright Horizons, Mercer.  Built a two-floor, 30,000 square foot building and a tenant space for Mercer.  The building includes additional retail, and a Bright Horizons daycare also by Lewis.
• Bartell Drugs.  We constructed a 24,000 square foot, two-story retail shell building including the buildout for Bartell’s.
• Mud Bay Granary, Mailboxes, Etc., Storables.  Lewis built interiors and storefronts for these stores.
• Pottery Barn Kids.  Built a 12,000 square foot shell for this store.
• Market Optical.  Constructed a small building remodel/addition.
• Louie Permelia and Tall’s Camera.  Renovated an existing, occupied retail building of 12,000 square feet (Building C).  We redemised tenant spaces, built new public corridor and restrooms, upgraded existing electrical systems, performed the tenant improvement for Louie Permelia, and built storefronts for Tall’s Camera.
• Yves Delorme, Radio Shack, Seattle Sun.  Added an 8,000 square foot retail second floor at the Upper Southwest Building, and performed selected interior work.  The spaces accommodate Radio Shack, Yves Delorme, and Seattle Sun.
• Building A Electrical.  Performed an electrical upgrade to main electrical system (new room, gear, building service) for an occupied two-story retail and office building.
• Northwest Building.  Lewis is providing preconstruction services for a new two-story retail building, to be LEED certified.
